1400 Block of Broadway at Capuchino Ave

A free outdoor movie has been planned to screen on Broadway on September 26th at 7:30PM. Capuchino Ave will be shut down and an inflatable movie screen will be set up, and the film will play at sundown. The free community event is designed to bring people together and draw more attention to Broadway Ave in Burlingame.

"We wanted to start something the community can come out to," said Peggy Dohrman (San Mateo Daily Journal), adding she loves outdoor movies. "It's a great way to watch movies."  Movie-goers can expect to enjoy an old-fashioned popcorn machine.

Movie-goers can expect to enjoy an old-fashioned popcorn machine. The Burlingame Chamber of Commerce is very supportive of the outdoor cinema event, and if the public likes it and neighbors are not disturbed, another movie night could be planned.

When:  Every Saturday in September 2009 at 7:30PM
Time: Movie- 7:30pm to 10pm
Where: About 100 feet from Capuchino Avenue and Broadway
Bring: Beach towels or a lawn chair and blankets
